    S14A 1999, best oil to use 320HP

    Hey, recently got my new toy, check the oil and it's a little black so going to do an oil change, the car is currently running 323hp. The cars going to be used for a little drifting but it will also be my daily. I was wondering what you would suggest for oil and what oil filter I should go for. I was told to use Millers Oil 10w-40 semi Synthetic. But I wanted to get a few different opinions before I buy.

    all in all;

    What engine oil would you recommend?

    what oil filter would you recommend?

    Its an SR20DET.

    thank you in advance!

    Use genuine filters, they're fine. I use 10w-40 but if you're drifting and your oil temps get a bit high, don't be scared of using 10w-50 or 15w-50, it'll hold oil pressure better when you're bouncing off the limiter, hopefully protect your bottom end a bit!

    Normally I run Fuchs Titan Race Pro S/R 10w50 / 15w50

    Due to a shortage of that im now on Mobil 1 10w60 motorsport

    Normally a genuine filter but currently have a mahle item on it

    Runnning circa 350 hp, forged sr, only gets drifted and it gets abused whenever its out. (all of the limiter bashing!!!) Change it when i can be bothered, usually every 3-4 drift days or everytime i take it to the uk.

    I use Millers Nanodrive 10w40 at the moment and it's great!
