    Nissan 200sx s13 problems choking

    Hello! My 200sx has a problem choking from 3500-4500 rev.Do 3500 Rev. car great speeds, as well as after the 4500 revolutions, but the problem has existed since 3500-4500???

    Check your spark plug gaps, especially if you have turned up the boost.

    The manual says the gap should be 1.1 but that is too big a gap if you have more boost than standard.

    Use NGK BCPR6ES plugs if you have a non-CAT model CA engine or go one grade cooler with BCPR7ES if you are beyond Stage 1.

    If you are running a cat, use NGK FPR6A.

    Set the gap to 0.85 mm.

    If you feel the need to use iridium plugs then they are pre-gapped and won't be the problem.

    If the problem still exists after setting the plug gaps, try changing your fuel filter and, if you haven't already, get rid of the OEM fuel pump and replace with a Walbro.
