    Will this fail the MOT?

Im slightly concerned that my braided lines to the caliper are unsecured. My coilovers didn't come with and brackets so I made a bracket that attaches to the inner arch. Do you think this will be enough? or it must attach to the strut?

The line doesn't make contact with the strut at all on full lock.

If in doubt, use a tie wrap...

A cable tie will be fine, it will be secure, doesn't matter what with.

Slice a bit of vacuum hose along its length and put it around the brake hose where it gets cable tied, it'll prevent any potential rubbing through.
I'm NOT the Chairman anymore, Ken was. He still likes poo though. Its not Jim either now. Ooh ooh, its now Doc!

My coilovers came with a bracket but the braided lines were too thin for it, i just used a cable tie to secure it

I was going to say exactly the same! As long as it is secure and doesn't risk getting rubbed through or caught on anything you will be fine!

Mine were cable tied onto my 328 hsd's. Never an issue either.

    What Mr Carter said. ^^^^

Your MOT man may grumble at cable ties. He may even put it as an advisory but if it is secure he shouldn't fail it.

Awesome, thanks guys. That's good to know, I guess he will be more concerned with the 20 degrees of negative camber! lol!

Cheers guys. Hopefully will be good.

    Thanks as always

Oh and one other thing while your here! I recently fitted a new turbo and Ive noticed that now I get turbo flutter at around 2k revs even though I have a blow off valve, this never happened with the t25 ot the disco.

    Whats that about?

Where is the throttle when you get this "flutter" at 2K rpm ? Closed, steady or wide open ?

It doesn't sound like turbo flutter to me
