    180SX SR20 Elbow & downpipe question

    Hi guys ,

Hoping you can help me on this one , I need a downpipe and elbow for my 180SX and just wanted to check what the recommended make/supplier was , If the japspeed/eBay stuff would do the job fine with no leaks , or if its rubbish what should I get ?

Ive seen those Tomei elbows for about £200 at one end of the scale then stuff like this for £50 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silvia-180...item234c473152

I dont mind paying the price if needed , but if the cheaper stuff does the same job then may as well save some cash.

Just hoping some of you who have used this sort of stuff can give me some advise.

Shit ones tend to be shit. Buy from a decent company and not EBay TBH. I never had issues with my Japspeed Elbow other than it didn't mate up to my existing system to which Japspeed told me tough in a manor of speaking.

I'm sure their 180sx Elbow is just an S14 SR20 elbow.

I had one on my 180sx too, outstanding piece of kit. It has an small flexi-section inbuilt, all OEM mounting brackets for the gearbox and also a boss welded in for a wide-band sensor. The fitment was perfect and because of the flexi-section, you will get a lot less stress on the turbo (massively reducing the risk of turbo gasket failure)

They do pop up from time to time in the for sale section if you keep your eyes peeled

I'd recommend the PSM one too, my mate had one and the quality was excellent. Definitely worth the extra dollar
