T28 got replaced October time last year as I was driving home from work and it fell apart. Front housing literally fell off. Wasn't a stupid amount of play from what I can remember but replaced it anyway to save risk.

Miss the car looking like this:

Can't say I'm a fan of the styling route you've taken, but it's not my car any more and you're doing good work to the chassis that was much needed.

Cheers guys, I know that allot of people preferred it with the kouki kit on it and I still love it, whose to say that it won't come full circle and be back with one in a couple of years time, and I agree I need some mega wheels but for now I can't afford it, can't wait for the apprenticeship to finish!!

As for the rust it goes in for it to be welded tomorrow! My dad isn't doing it anymore cos he is flat out working 7 days a week doing paid jobs so this is getting done elsewhere! I will hope to get a load of pics of it all being cut out and etc!

To fix the rear arches I agreed with the welder that it would be easier to rebuild it all to overfenders so after some searching I ordered a set from epracing, they arrived next day but the courier company has done a good job of smashing the shit out of them so I now have this to sort out which isn't ideal when it goes in tomorrow evening ready for Monday!

Pics of the rust that's being sorted -

    And the arches -

And damage to my overfenders :'(

The people at ep have been really helpful with it all and hope it will be sorted asap!

At least your dad is in the trade. I hope he recommended someone and you get a good job/price.

As for the fenders, you know there is this rule with couriers that we are supposed to check before they leave. Why do we never do it! I think we as men are too optimistic. Especially when it comes to new shine parts

Has the welding started mate? You just get new overs in the end? I had a similar problem with damage caused by the courier with my wings from ep!

I think the courier new something had happened as he buggered off well quick. I took pics of the box before opening it as I didn't like the look of it which was lucky that I did.

And Rich it goes in today or early tomorrow morning before I start work, I am demoted to the moped all week!!

Ohh no not another moped rider on the road!

He probably dropped it or stood on it as these careless couriers do.

If you're sticking around the 290bhp-300bhp mark with yours being stage 1a, I'd suggest just getting an Exedy 3 paddle clutch, that's also the one that's currently in your car if memory serves what my mate put in it when he had it.

Exedy Paddle is about 350 quid from driftworks.
