    Alerts-autotrader.com Is this a scam??

Selling my volvo on autotrader and have been offers £6250 for the car witch I'm happy with. They will come collect the car today and pay cash I just need to pay £75 booking fee that I will get back when the collect the car. Has anyone used this sight? Is this legit?? I'm very scepticalabout this.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

They ask you to make a booking with the promise of getting it off the value of the car, you know, just to make sure you're there when they turn up to see it They never turn up, you don't get your money back and you've lost £75

I was selling a car on Autotrader a few years ago and got the same thing tried on me. It's an age old scam.

Also autotrader.com is a US site, autotrader.co.uk is the UK one, so the .com should be suspicious to start with
