200sx S14 returns exhaust with stage 1
hello
I have a friend who owns an S14 and since the installation of the chips stage 1
it returns the exhaust deceleration below 3000tr / min
it has no problem with the original ECU
thanks

Not sure what you mean by "returns the exhaust"
Do you mean popping and banging and flames out of the exhaust pipe on the overrun ?
-

yes, the poc exhaust
small flames
in deceleration below 3000tr / min

I think its a case of "They all do that, Sir".
Most people seem to like a bit of popping and banging on the overrun.

ok, it was to sure there is nothing wrong
the phenomenon must come from mapping that continues to fuel injected closed throttle

Our SX runs a Nur Spec with all catalytic convertors removed from the downpipe and front section and even on a standard ECUmap you get a nice burbly popping on overrun. It is what I miss most about the old girl while she sits on the drive making the garden pretty.

ok thank for the information
I was wondering because with the standard ECU, I have very little flame to deceleration

With a standard ECU mine popped and flamed with a decat/exhaust, with a stage 1a chip it does it even more. Are you running a blow off valve/recirc or not? Mine runs none which causes them to run rich on overrun, meaning more bangs and flames.

The atmospheric dump valve will contribute to the bangs/flames. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but if you ran it recirculating, it should help if you really want to stop them.

Yes, my problem is not to shift gear
but to deceleration and closed throttle

for more understanding
my symptoms like a gun at the exhaust

when I close the throttle on mine it normally bangs too
