Cor ! You do like a minger, don't you ?

I hope you're not paying big money for these cars you're buying

TBH, this and the S13 only look fit for spares salvage to me unless you want something that is a real mission or something to banger race/drift.

There are cars out there with decent shells you know.

Ref the 13 Johnny why is that scrap?
It's clean underneath ok rear looks abit dented due to accident but no worst than a rusted out s13 somebody gets to repair

Just looking over the project threads and there is a lot worse 13 and 14's than mine going back on the road

Wish you could come over have a brew and have a look around them

But thanks for the comment anyway

Sorry I was being presumptuous. What are you buying these cars for ?

You've said what you are starting with but what are you aiming for ?

The 14 engine bay shows that the turrets need work as they are rusty and if the other pics are anything to go by, there is rust in a lot of other places too so you are going to need a lot of welding done.

If you are an accomplished welder, it might be doable but if you are going to pay someone to do it, it would be a lot cheaper to buy a car with a decent shell.

Looks like a big project there mate. That rust isnt good, and that looks a fairly serious job. If you have the space to strip this down and get it on a rotisserie then youd have a better chance, but it will take a damn good welder to do that in a driveway.

Answering some of your other stuff -

Airbag light could just be the slipper ring contact in the steering column. ABS light, not so sure, but neither can just be flashed off i dont think.

Yes R33 rear subframes fit. Find a R33 GTS-T, the rear subframe and driveshafts can be used, but a lot of people on here sell good used rear subframes for around £50.
If I was you id cut out and completely replace the sills, that rust looks deep - and it always spreads further than you expect. One of the members on here makes replacement sills at good prices.

Also - Zenki means the earlier S14 with the block front lights. Kouki means the facelifted S14a with the angular front lights.

Slowly tack weld and seamsealer. Otherwise, it'll warp and twist and never look right.

EDIT: I couldn't see pics at work and thought you were talking about an S13 bootlid. As P2K says, replace the panel.

If that was me, I'd be replacing that back panel. You can still get them from Nissan for not bank breaking money.

Nissan will look it up for you if you give them your chassis number.
