    Tyre pressure

    Hi, can anyone suggest some safe tyre pressures please.

    Front 225/45/18 7.5j
    Rear 225/40/18 9.5j

    You run a larger profile on the front than the rear? thats unusual?

    I doubt it's a mistake, I used to run 205/55/16 on a 7j front and 225/50/16 on a 8j rear. As long at it is the same rolling circumference it will be fine

    I personally run 30 psi fronts and 28 psi rears. I think it's more of a preference than an exact number, I think I remember people saying they run up to 35 in the rears with no issues

    You were running a larger profile but smaller width, whereas damosan is running 40 and 45 profiles, both with a width of 225, so a larger rolling radius on the front which is why i said it was unusual.
    As for pressures i run 30psi on the front and rear.

    Same width tyres and 2.5" difference in width of wheels.

    Enter all the info and it will reccomend you a tyre pressure.

    Apparently my standard Uniroyal rainsports should be running 44psi
