My fresh import ps13

Going to keep this short & sweet.
Traded my old car against this fresh import.
It's a '92 with all the usual refinements,elecy folding mirrors,digital climate control,double din factory stereo.
Its absolutely bone stock at the moment.Chassis is mint,body is very tidy,interior is a little bit scruffy.Front splitter is aftermarket but can't find any other pics of one.
Engine & box is really smooth & its really nice to have a drive able 200.
Anyway went for not today & she went straight through with a few very minor advisories.
Next job is to sort out registering for V5 & UK plates.

Cheers Ross,plans are farely minimal,coilovers,maybe 5 stud & skyline brakes or maybe just 5 stud adapters & some decent wheels.Want to tidy cabin area more than anything.
Yes has been on a few sites,seller was really honest & I'm more than happy.

Nice PS man! I have just brought one in from Japan myself. Should be getting it this week after HMRC have taken my hard earned pennies off me! Look forward to seeing what you do with it!

Parts can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get hold of. I have spent months looking for a bonnet for mine

I've just ordered a nardi wheel as mine is all flaking & scabby.Also got a stubby snap off boss & solid alloy hub.
Also bought stereo adaptor & Iso lead to fit my modern stereo as CD player doesn't work & radio is hit & miss.
Really on the look out for a pair of door cards if any are available.
Need to source an mph converter as km/h is a pain.

Parts were ordered from ebay.
Nardi arrived today & so did my 40mm hub.
Stereo adapter harness arrived & I've ordered a new iso cable for my Sony.
Finished all the paperwork off & sent that today so hopefully if I don't get any issues from the dvla I should be driving before the end of the month!

I had an hour yesterday so I played with the stereo & found the tapedeck & cd player were both dead.I had a decent Sony in the garage & an S14 cubby box so I installed it using new iso leads & an adapter from ebay so I didn't have to cut any wiring.



I found a set of R33 gtr rims through a mate.Was a complete bonus to find they had 4 new tyres fitted & only need a light refurb on the lips.





Plans are now to source rear handbrake,drum mechanisms & front S14 hubs to get my 5 stud conversion on.

Nice updates. I was thinking of going 5-stud, but can't really be bothered unless I decide to get some fancy wheels that aren't available in 4-stud. What are you doing with the old wheels?

Tyres are toast as the car was sat untouched in Japan for ages.Will prob sell the lot just to make space.
