Sports cat s14a
Hi all I need to sort for time attack and was looking around for a sports cat in place of the oem one but no luck as they are all saying won't fit without changing elbow and down pipe which Im trying not to do.
Is there anywhere that I can get a cat from or is it this way or no way
Cheers

Get someone who is competant with a welder, 3 inch (or whatever size exhaust you run) universal cat, a decat and make your own
Havent seen and for sale listed as 14a or 14

Have a look at demon tweeks (cheaper alternatives also available) you basically pick the length, diameter and the flange type's. Take those along with a standard cat to any exhaust fabricator and ask them to weld it up for a bit of cash.

There could be some confusion here.
There is the main catalyst under the car. There are different versions which vary slightly in length, but any should fit without drama.
Any mention of 'sport' catalyst will mean this main cat.
On a standard S14a (not S14) , there is also a secondary small catalyst in the downpipe. There is no sport equivalent to that.
If your secondary catalyst is still in place, then removing that is inevitable if you want to improve exhaust flow. That will require a replacement front pipe.
S14a aftermarket front pipe will fit.
S14 aftermarket front pipe, will also need an S14 elbow.

I don't want to create a new thread so. I was thinking.. do I get a sports cat or not? How does it compare to a decat? Also will it get me through MOT easily or do I need a specific type?
