Apex performance Roll center correction ball joints

Does anyone on here run the apex roll center correction ball joints? do they make much of a difference to how the car handles? I'm refurbing my arms with new bushes and ball joints so now will be the time to fit them.

Is it worth while getting the anti bump steer tre's at the same time?

I do and yes they help considerably. I didn't have the matching RC TRE's until recently but glad I fitted them now as bumpsteer has been almost completely eradicated. To be fair, I've only driven the car several times on the road and short distances but I'm impressed so far. Especially as I'm now running 265's all round.

I opted for the rose jointed variant but Hardrace do offer a oem style bushed type which will suit road biased cars more.

I now have a spare set of Tein TRE's. Maybe I should list them on your rod for sale thread? They're in very good condition.

Feel free to add the TRE's to the listings mate

Didn't realise there were two different types of roll center correction TRE's, I'll have to do some research

Apex performance Roll center correction ball joints

I run the same as blaktooth and agree. The full setup is fantastic.

The front RCC ball joints and the anti bump track rod ends. Combined with rear RCC ball joints. Car is much flatter in corners and most noticeable on our bumpy English roads is the reduced bump steer!

The fronts are both hardrace items and the rear is a japspeed adjustable lower arm with built in RCC

Rear ones put the standard lower arm very close to the brake disk (R33 GTR setup), there was only about 1mm clearance.

I'm running the R33 GTR setup and although it's close I've not noticed any rubbing.

Also had these ball joints on the rear, as Ben says they are very close, I had to cut brake backing plate to avoid rubbing. (Z32)

Yep, agree as well. Mine are very close but a little bit of clearancing sorted it.

more camber would give more clearance, depends what settings you want to run.

I bought GKTech rear knuckles as didn't like how it all sat.

I have the roll center ball joints front and rear and the anti bump steer track rod ends. They made a huge difference and I never had any clearance issues with my setup.

I may take a grinder to the lower arm before I send it off to powder coat just to be sure. Cheers guys.

Haven't fitted them up yet (need to replace my tall balljoints with standard ones or buy some new lower arms), but as a concept they look excellent. Quality of finish isn't quite as good as expected mind.

I'll try and get some pics up in a new thread

Got my gkteck knuckles the other day. They look the part, big thing for me was the spherical bearings and twin caliper mounts.

Cheaper than DW knuckles too on the pre buy price.
