    s14a wiper linkages, worn bushings

    my driver side wiper packed up and had to convert her to run with passenger wiper slightly up the screen and clearing drivers side.
    however mot peeps dont like that and am now on the hunt for wiper linkage,(pivots) or bushingbox things.
    any help or advice, i have ten days to rebook mot for free...

    The wiper linkage is a weak point on S14s and does wear out.
    Nissan dealers can still supply the link arms, albeit they aren't cheap anymore, and if they have to order them, ten days is an ambitious target.

    Some people have bodged a short-term fix using a nut&bolt or pin through the worn nylon bushing, or by packing the socket with something.

    This is an item where buying second hand is IMHO a false economy for the long term, but if you need one link arm in the next few days, one of the breaker traders should be able to sort you out , unless a member has a spare one
