    Advice

    Got leak on the power steering pipe now any ideas on repairing with alternative pipe, or has anyone
    a spare one laying around, many thanks.

    Depends what's gone, they won't do metal pipe only full flexi as I got one for v8, you can get fittings for the metel pipe if it broke that push on using olives

    It's got a split on the 90%bend on the metal pipe that comes after the adaptor for the P/S, who/where is 'Pirtek'.


    p.s thanks Nick, phoned them up very helpful if I can get the pipe off, then take it down they will
    make up as much as I want to go.

    As said above found the leak, Pirtek can make up the piping, 'Q' can the pipe be taken out with out dropping the front subframe
    or removing any parts of the engine on the steering side.

    Good question Gerry, i have no idea as its not something i have ever looked at in any detail at all lol

    Will have a nose in the bay tomorrow though.

    Sorry Gerry, been flat out and with all the best intentions have completely forgotten about this.
    Will see if anyone else local knows and get them to post up....alternatively will do my best to get in the garage and have a nose after work tomorrow.

    That's ok Nick not a prob, spoke to driftbliz yesterday ordered a pipe from them only come as a pair, he said its
    a piece of p--- to get them of but then they do it every day.

    It just a fiddly job, be careful bit to round the fittings that go in the rack
