    sr20 piston rings

    hi guys
I was wondering if you could help me out on my sr20 engine. basically my engine is gone and turns out the bottom end has blown including the head gasket. iv taken out the Pistons and the rings look fine. it's got few small scratches and one of my main mechanic said it should be fine. his only good on standard repairs. do you think I should get new piston rings for it? it got forged Pistons on it and I dnot even the wht make that is since i bought it like that. I got a new bottom end and I'm getting it bored out for the piston but one of the guy who does that suggests I get new rings. I dnot even k is wht sizes to get. iv had blue smoke coming out only once for a while and thought it might be the piston rings may have gone but the rings don't look that bad. wht should I do?

Im amazed to even see this question. You've gone to that much effort to get it all out, for the sake of a couple of hunner quid change it!

    try this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/S14-200SX-...item23058402da

you will have to drop them a message with the size you need for what they have in stock
there is possibly in the traders section on here other suppliers could get them
being a member you would get a discount ,Apex performance may do them
worth PM ing a few of the traders for quotes and availability
