    S15 Spec R Insurance

It's that time of the year again and my renewal on the S15 is coming up very soon

As always, there's only a handful of insurance companies that'll insure an S15 Spec R. From the list below, is there any that I've missed or worth contacting without them wasting an hour of my time figuring out what an S15 is?

    A Plan
    Sky Insurance
    Keith Michaels
    Greenlight

Please let me know of any others I've most probably missed.

    I'd add Adrian Flux.

We are from Similar areas and Sky and Greenlight are not competitve for me.

Make sure you use Newbury office of A PLan.

    Cheers Scottie.

Damn I hate Adrian Flux! They've not ever beaten any quotes for the past 5 years for me.

I'm now about to renew mine as well, I've been with Flux for the last 7 years or so. I'll be ringing round again this year though

I'm hoping to get mine down to £400 this year as mine was around £550ish last year.

I'm currently with A Plan who are in the process of getting me a renewal sent out. As always it'll be overpriced so I'll try the others. Should be dirt cheap considering I only ever do 1000 miles annually!

Greenlight quoted me £470 all mods declared, he wasn't expecting any luck due to the power it's putting out, but came back with a good offer.

Only thing that pissed me off a bit was that it was the old "offer is open now only, can't send any info" pressure sales shite.

I've used Aplan and Flux for modified S15's. I always get really well looked after at Aplan. If you call Aplan, only speak to Dan Cameron, if he's not about leave a message rather than speak to a colleague - his number is 01635 879910.

Just got my renewal letter from A Plan with a quote of £352 for the year. Still too much imo considering the mileage I do in it. Will call some companies next week to get better quotes.

A Plan can't do it any lower than £352!

Keith Michaels won't even answer the phone.

    Sky can't even beat £352.

What sort of spec are you running to get a quote that low? Mines down to £460 at the moment.

Chris Knott is out for me as they won't insure cages.

Cool, got mine down to just over £400 with A Plan. Don't think AF can compete as they've not come back yet with a new quote after I updated the mods list.
