Is it possible to try too many projects?

For some reason I am always trying to do stupid little project that are very unrelated.

Is it possible to try doing too many little things. Like my new one, I am going to try electroplating. I don't see this going well. Haha.

Got into fiberglass molds and layup. Have the big s body project always on going. Painting cars. Welding. Just anything I think I want to get done I try. Is that bad?

    Cheers.

    Chris

Haha. Yes. That's the big problem with the 200. It's very slow going. Too many ideas.

I don't see a problem with learning new skills. Plating is easy, so long as the parts are super clean.

I was hoping it would be fairly easy. Not much of a problem if it goes awry.

I don't see it as a bad thing,I have countless what I call back burner projects like things I design and then re think and redo get bored with it and start another,
or go back to another unfinished thing, as well as sets of wheels in near finished refurb condition and the ongoing cars s13,s14a and yaris SR

I have yet to get into the fiberglass or proper painting things with a compressor/gun etc,I like the idea of plating parts and curious how that goes
I'm more into metal fab (bodging) atm and rebuilding a 1.5 motor for the yaris and try revive the 200's while the weather is good

If you have time to ask questions like this, then you obviously have time for a new project. =]

Yes yes. Ok. But the little projects help the car. I can only spend 1 day a week on it anyway. Wish it was closer to me. But it is coming along a lot quicker now.

I think it's good, it suggests an interest in the world and a thirst for knowledge and new skills. It can get expensive though and your wife / gf will invariably get annoyed at all the 'junk' you accumulate!

Haha yes the Mrs does always think I'm strange and wonder what I do it all for. But after the 200 it's her beetle resto so what I do now will make that more efficient.

Next project will be build a diy spot welder. Lol

So did a couple nuts and washers.

They turned out ok. I can't get them clean enough so sorting out a rumbler to clean them. Also not very bright so going to redo the solution and use sugar instead of glucose.
