    Tuning question

Silly question really but it's been playing on my mind

I'm currently in the stages of putting my car back together, I'm aiming for more power so going down the nistune route. Basically I've got 740cc injectors and a z32 maf, will the car start if I put those parts in before a map?

Want to get the car up and running before taking it to the mappers

No it won't. Unless you've got an apexi PFC. With a hand commander then you can tell it you've got those parts and it will run.

You could tell whoever is supplying the Nistune what your spec is, they should be able to put a base map on that will let your car run.

I wouldn't run the car with the 740's fitted and no map.

As above you will damage engine if it even starts.

its annoying but thats the way it is. i fitted my injectors at the mappers, and had the air flow meter wiring on bullet connectors so i could easily swap that over when i was there too.

As above, If you can get hold of a Nistune with a map thats been preset for 740's it'll run but obviously dont run boost. Best best is to fit it all, and trailer the car to mapping, this would be my preference, as should anything happen during mapping you can still get home

Yeah thought that would be the case with it all!
I'll get it all back together on standard injectors and maf make sure she runs then off to the mappers with the proper bits
