I'm buying XXR 527 alloys need help with size

    As above really,

I've decided that the XXR 527's are the wheels I want on my S13 4x114, I have 17" on there at the moment which I think are perfect but am stuggling as to what width & ET to get on front and back,

The car will mainy be used for fast road & trackdays & yes I know I can get lighter wheels but just like the look of the deep inset so want to go as wide as I can on the rear preferably without to much arch work.

I haven't seen them on a S13 so pictures are welcome to.

My car is dark blue & I'm thinking just go for them in silver as I have a dislike for black wheels, what are your thoughts?

    Thanks

You can fit any of the sizes they do on an S13. Don't need much arch work on the rear to get clearance on a 17x9.75 ET25, depends how low you go.

It also depends on tyre size and camber. A 9.75 wheel might be fine with a 215/40 stretched on it with 3 deg of camber but it wont if its a 265 tyre with 1 deg camber.

Car is pretty low & don't fancy stretch tyres for track work:

    Preference

    225 up front
    255/265 on rear

Good luck then. I run 17x9.75 on a PS13 with 225/45 rear and 235/40 up front, no rear camber, -6 front camber.

so the only size they do in 17" is 9.75?

Do you have any pictures of them on your ps?

Are you running a square setup?

They also do 8.25. I'm running different wheels but 17x8 et20 and they fit perfect, however, I haven't had any camber correction.

This is the only picture I have that kinda shows the fitment at the moment. I am running a 15mm spacer and S14 lower arms too so will push the wheel out a further too. I needed a spacer on the front to clear my coilovers.

    very nice ps buddy,

    So if I go for

    17x8.75 front
    17x9.75 rear

What tyres size would I need?

Don't think they come in 17x8.75.. Mine i think are 17x9.75 with 245/40 rears and 17x8.25 with 215/40 front, both slightly stretched but not too much.. Rears need the lips folded to run a 245.. no rolling required..

I have those xxr on my s13 now they are 17s and 9.75 j all round with 215/40/17 on the front and a 225/40/17 on the rear they fit fine the only thing I had to do was roll the arches. And I run a 20mm spacer on the front to clear the calliper.

    Saw this on facebook

    "Retro" Looks dope!

I don't know much about fitment.. or s13s lol but I wouldn't go any bigger than the 9.75j set that xxr do. Infact I think that IS the biggest set they do. I'd wack them on the rear and chop the 8.75js on the front

You can get a 10.5j et 12 with a 265/35 tyre with a roll and small flare on the back of a 13. As standard the front arch clearance is weak but I did have 9j et 15 with a 225/45 and a roll only on the front. My car was pretty low
