It's Saturday. Have you bought it yet?
It's Saturday. Have you bought it yet?
Just setting off now. I'm nervous as shit
Waaahh. It's a no. Needed 2 new front tyres as they'd scrubbed inside which means the arms were probably worn. Clutch was heavy and high, and no history of a change so that's on way out. Front discs heavily scored and on their last legs.
It's weird as he'd spent 800 quid on the main service no problem but ignored basic maintenance.
Off for round two now but it's a tiptronic - not sure on that....
Did you drive it?
If so, what are your thought's of the driving experience?
Didn't drive the first one - sort of wish I did but didn't fancy getting tugged with 2 bald ish tyres.
Drove a tiptronic this afternoon but didn't buy it. Oil leaks from engine put me off. It was in good nick otherwise though which was a shame.
Drive wise it's really good. I'd liken the front end feel to a Caterham where you just know what the wheels are doing. Extremely poised. Engine sounds glorious.
Wooot. One has turned up in the next county looking much more like it - I'm off tomorrow morning as long as they answer their phone lol
Good luck dude, this threads giving me second thoughts about selling my s13, even though it's just a shell in my workshop, this thread reminds me of all the awesome tyre killing thrills it used to give me.
Si - if this thing goes wrong and costs me my marriage I am so going to never listen to you again...
Might have bought a car this morning
I'd like to offer a high 5, and gloss over the rest of your post.
I am both excited and gut wrenchingly nervous all at the same time - but I am now the owner of a midnight blue 2001 plate 911 with grey leather interior and the 5 spoke 18 inch wheels. Manual, natch
It's in such good condition that I had to blow my imaginary budget beyond its already imaginarily set limits but YOLO
**** me I own a 911
Hah, legend!
This thread has been a great read. Does they other half know? Lol
Pics? :-) Tracking it at the weekender?
Looks ruinously good
Not even a little bit jealous
Looks nice, er, expensive to run, er, nice, er, expensive to fix, er, nice
I'm sure I saw one just like that poking out of a hedge on Stock Road a couple of months ago. Was it local ?
Well done old son !
