So just quickly popped down the workshop to see the car,

currently up in the air at the moment, so far up in the area where the subframe sits, seems pretty clean and no bad signs of serious rot:

    20151210_175102 - Copy.jpg

At the minute the subframe, front/rear lower arms and the Anti-Roll bars are next door at the powder coaters, so no photo's of them yet.

However have managed to get the rear knuckle poly bushes in:

So that's how it's looking so far, I'll try get some photo's very soon when the bits come out from the powder coaters.

In the meantime while the car is away with the subframe out, nothing major exciting, but had a little spare cash laying about so treated myself to some engine bay bling bits and bobs which I bought from redman_silvia, which include:

Polished fusebox cover, Polished PAS Reservoir Cover, Polished Brake fluid Reservoir Cover, Polished Bonnet Stay (Un-pictured, still wrapped up)

So these should brighten it up "under the hood" a little bit, I like treating myself to the little accessories like this every now and again.

However as far as the car is concerned, subframe and arms should hopefully all be powder coated and rebushed by Monday/Tuesday time next week. Will then be a case of just re assembling everything and getting it all back together.

So, after a week or so worth of work, here's how everything is looking with the underside refurb/rebush!

Rear subframe and front crossmember, went with gold to match the wheels:

    DSC_0430.JPG

And the rest of the arms, ARB's and other suspension components e.g. the subframe boomerangs in blue, to match my hardrace adjustable alignment arms:

    DSC_0433.JPG

Overall, once back together here is how it looks underneath, must say I am so happy with the end result and can't wait to feel the difference in how it will drive all completely rebushed:

Would like to say thanks to Chris at Lightning Motorsport and Ben at Viper Coatings for doing such a fabulous job

Will get the alignment re-set up this weekend and should be good till whatever is next.

Your car looks so clean, love all your mods ie seats dials gauges rocker cover. Love the colour of the subframe underneath, is it gold the colour? Bring out the blue well

Thank you. I do think some of the little things make the biggest impact at times.

And yeah gold subframe to match the wheels

I am tempted to do the cam cover gold as well so there are a few gold spots but the black is nice and subtle for now. Will need to think about it

Here are a few quicky pictures I got, just popped to Lightning Motorsport/Chris who has done the work to see the car.

    20151217_181700.jpg

Also did a few small changes in the engine bay, fitted my polished fuse box cover, PAS Reservoir, bonnet stay and brake fluid reservoir.

Also have changed the rubber breather hose to my catch tank to a braided one, looks a lot better I think

    20151217_183234.jpg

Overall, this is the end of most of the major work on my car for a while now/for this year. I genuinely will be having a break from the car for a little while as I want to top my funds back up quite a bit as the bank account isn't looking healthy at all after this amount of work :/

However down the line in a couple of years I will be contemplating a full engine rebuild so that's also another area all fresh. I'll still every now and again be on here with a little update perhaps but to be honest this will be it for the short term future.

First update of 2016, nothing exciting but just trying to keep thread a little bit active,

I've purchased an Apex front Anti Roll bar, I did powder coat my stock ones and use new bushes and drop links, but it was just bugging me that they were still the crappy hollow ones while everything else underneath was pretty heavily uprated except the ARB's.

    20160126_140857.jpg

Apex didn't have any rear uprated anti-roll bars in stock, so I ordered a hardrace 22mm rear adjustable anti-roll bar from Horsham developments which should be here any day now. I'm going to fit these next week hopefully so I will have pictures then

Also have a few recent photo's of the car as it looks exactly now.

I do also have a set of R33 GTS-T front brakes I bought over a year ago, which along with the Anti-roll bars I will fit along with next week.

Other recent purchases I don't have any pictures of include a Tegiwa BMC Stopper, KTS Large capacity clutch slave cylinder and a braided driftworks clutch line which I have had sitting around for a while.

Just gradually wanna replace everything personally so it's like new.

Edit: also think my factory slave cylinder is slowly starting to weep out as well. My friends one did after a year or so of running a heavier clutch

Erm I bought this particular one on ebay ages ago. It was a "KTS" one which is a Japanese make I think. But the place on ebay I got it don't think sell them anymore.

RHDJapan.com sell a Nismo slave cylinder less than what you can buy one for over here. I'll see if I can get a link if you're perhaps interested in getting a new one. bear with me

    http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-big-op...-cylinder.html

Or there is this one which is a little more expensive:

    http://www.rhdjapan.com/kameari-larg...pe-nissan.html

I don't know how good this KTS one will be which I have for mine but I'd defo look maybe at them two if you're perhaps looking for one. The nismo one from apex here in UK is like twice the price of what you can get from rhd japan but then there will only be a little bit extra for postage and perhaps a little for import tax but you could still be saving I reckon.

    I hope that helps man.

    Edit:

    Found this just now: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISMO-HEAVY-...008?nav=SEARCH

    It's from Tokyo though.

No problem mate. Dunno if you probably already saw but it says a nismo slave cylinder requires a genuine copper seal washer from nissan or something. Shouldn't be too hard though to get one I imagine.

Looking sweet! Didn't realise (bar the colour) how similar ours are haha.

What spacers are you running? I have the same 9.75j all round.. Upfront running 15mm spacers and on the rear hoping to run 15-20mm spacers

Thank you mate and yeah that's what I was thinking. I also have a stock jdm zenki rear end as opposed to the rocket bunny rear on yours like I saw.

I've got 15mm spacers on the front with 235/40/18 tyres and about -3 camber with a slight arch roll.

Rears are 20mm spacers with 235/40/18 and -1 camber with rolled arches.
