S15 spec R aero bumper ideas.

    Evening!

I have a spec R aero which is on 4 way adjustable air suspension, however the front doesn't sit as low as I would like, however I am also looking at ideas of what I could do to my front bumper to make it look more aggressive ( without ruining the aero bumper too much)

Any splitters? Or anyone fitted something universal or something else? Need some inspiration that's all.

    Here's my 15

Why do you need air suspension to run low?

Needs the wheels sorting more than a bumper

I'd deffo be looking at the wheels before worrying about a bumper that pretty much takes care of itself.

To answer your question Look on eBay for universal splitter. Its a rubber strip that you cut to the right size.

Its a shame to ruin such a nice looking s15 with gay ride suspension. It looks terrible that low with those wheels.

As above, get a universal splitter

How does it ride and handle on sir suspension compared to normal?

Hi guys. I'm a part time estate agent and part time self employed. But with the estate agency I have to go onto housing estates constantly, with massive speed bumps. I used to have a really low s2000 and I fancied a change.

Air is fantastic, I don't understand the hate. I've ran low cars on coil overs and now on air. I'd chose air every time!

Universal splitter, I will try that I think.

Wheels I know are a bit gash, they are SSR's but want some girth. But money is tight as always

Ignore the hate bud, Car looks nice.. I'm not a fan of the wheels either if I'm honest though lol.

I am about to lower my car... well pretty much slam it on HSD mono pros... I will probably regret it but it'll look awesome I am sure

    Spec S bumper + DC2 lip?

If nothing else, it should save you from the purist lynch-mob I can see gathering on the horizon!

I couldn't think of anything worse than dragging a lowered S15 in and out of speed bump ridden housing estates, air or not. Get a cheap daily, stat.

Why would he get a "spec s" ( FFR just a standard bumper for all S15's I.e non aero) when he's got the perfect aero bumper, which is what he wants to keep.

Its not a purist thing its an air bag scene thing. Air bags are gay end of! You want to lift the car for speed bumps then get hydraulic front lift kit.

My response was facetious and I'm not an s15 expert, you know what I meant.

Either way, gay bags aside, sticking a universal rubber lip on a bumper with an integrated splitter will look shite!

You could try and non aero bumper and an aeroworkx splitter and sell your aero bumper for quite a lot of money on the s15oc, not sure how much lower it would be and the splitters hard to come by, but you would still probably have money in your pocket after selling the aero bumper. Just an idea.

Fit nicer and more aggressive wheels and it will make the entire car look more aggressive

IMO Wheels make or break a car and there breaking yours at the moment , get some nice fitment on there and you will be laughing
