    Upgrading to 8 pot K sports. WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO CHANGE.

    Hi I've just brought a full K sport brake kit for my s14a. I know a lot of people upgrade to z32 brakes with the master cylinder and servo as well.

    I'm just wondering is it worth me upgrading to the z32 master cylinder and servo as well? Will it help use my new brakes to their potential?

    Also if there is anything else you think I should look into changing I'm open to suggestions.

    Thanks Sam

    I ran on my 14a Ksport 8 pots 356mm and stock rears with stock BMC and I had a long pedal,one pump and it came up
    brakes were very powerful just the 1st touch it traveled half way,now gone back to z32 front calipers as selling the 14a
    so the Ksport set up is going onto my 13 with a z32 bmc and z32 rear calipers,
    there are 3 z32 bmc bore sizes afaik, 15/16,1",1 1/16 plus 2 and 3 port versions abs and non abs
    I have gone with an early 89>91 tt abs uk car 2 port and 1 1/16 and read it will give me shorter pedal travel
    also read the z32 servo can over boost the brakes and make them wooden and grabby
    so I'm sticking with the stock 13 servo for now and will swap it if it feels it needs more servo effect

    pull the hubs and bin the dust/stone guards on discs that big they will look silly and restrict cooling air flow as well imo

    I had abs issues with the ksports fitted as in felt like the abs was triggering slightly as I pulled up hard from higher speeds
    I left the abs module in place and pulled the abs fuses etc to stop it and got the pedal more solid again

    Thanks Andy that's a big help loads of good information there. I think I'll upgrade my bmc and go from there.

    Does anyone know if there's anything to look out for when buy a z32 bmc?

    I have a GTR/Z33 servo if you fancy giving it a try. Personaly I found the short sharp pedal feel nice on the road but not so great on the race track.

    I was just looking on ebay before I read this. saw one for a r32 which is a BM50? I'm guessing your one is the newer model as the number is higher.
    I'll take it off your hands and give it a try.

    Bm33 = 13/16
    bm38 = 7/8
    bm44 = 15/16
    bm50 = 1"
    bm57 = 1" 1/16
