We have a basic laser tracking gauge setup at my work, and it cost £900 for reference. Has to be calibrated regularly, im not sure id trust that to be particularly accurate, but for the money its probably ok for getting the front wheels parralell ish.

Most places only charge £30 -50 for tracking only too, never seen anywhere charging £80 for tracking and would avoid if i did seeing as its 10 minutes work.

I cant really work out how thats supposed to work but it doesnt look great quality.

Id look at something more like this, Im sure you can get cheaper versions.

Tracking's not 10 minutes work, it takes 10 minutes to get it on the ramp and set up,
Doing a full custom setup takes a fair bit of time if done properly, hence the £80 roughly 2 hours labour

I'm well aware a full alignment set up takes much longer and for that £80 Is a good price.
I was talking about basic front wheel tracking only (not 3D alignment), which is all those gauges will do. Using laser gauges like in the link I provided, 10 minutes is usually plenty. Cars with the steering rack high up take a little more time, and obviously if the track rod ends are seized to the track rods and require heating to move then yes it will also take more time.

I'd also add that laser setups often don't work with low cars, I have to remove my front bumper to track my car.
