S14 coilovers on S15, fronts are maxxed out!
Hi all,
Looking for some help if anyones had this problem before.
I bought some freshly rebuilt Apexi N1 coilovers for my S15, which i understood are the same as S14/a which the coilovers were for originally!
The problem, the fronts are maxxed out on the top mounts and still way out of alignment, anyone else had this?
Is it just a case of getting adjustable front arms? what am i looking for and wheres the bets place to get them?
Thanks
Liam

I have s14 s tunes on my s15 and they fit perfect albeit a little higher than I'd have liked but alignment was bang on.

Probably need to move the allen screws in the top mount over to a different set of holes..

Yeah would help if you said what alignment is out. And the coilovers are exactly the same!

Not exactly the same. I ordered a set of s15 apex coilovers and they supplied me s14 as they assumed they were the same but the mount for the abs sensor didnt reach and i got in contact and they found out there was a different bottom mount for the s15 so the brake pipe and abs sensor mount lined up properly. Not sure if this is true with all coilover brands, just my experience with one set. Irrelevant for the point in discussion though.

My bad, coilovers fit perfectly fine. the top mounts are completely maxxed out (the part you can see in the bay are both facing the engine) and the wheels are toeing in alot. Ive been told some driftworks adjustable arms will be what i need :S

You adjust camber with the topmounts not toe.
