Because every track wouldn't upgrade their equipment, if they had say 10 suitable vehicles they could be brought to each track and could be used in similar situations; if an accident occurs at a location that one of them can't access safety car out before a standard one can be used...

I know it's difficult to draw the line, where to stop but they have to mitigate the risks where it's possible and doesn't effect the sport (which the likes of specialist equipment wouldn't - like better crash structures, tethered wheels etc. haven't)

Safest thing to do would be drive by wireless, all the drivers sit in a nice air conditioned room with comfy seats and steer there motor remotely.

Ok thats going to end up being shit but hey if you want safe.

You dont really need a JCB to retrieve a bike do you Trackdays are also not races so the chances of something like that happening are virtually zero, road cars also dont aquaplane anywhere like as bad a single seater.

All that needs to be done is that if there is a car off in a wet race thats on a corner they should send out the safety car, job done.

Im pretty sure for the millions and millions of pounds of contact they have with bernie... upgrading a jcb for him so that f1 continues to race there would be priority number 1
