Recommend me an offset

I honestly find all this wheel talk and offset talk confusing at the best of times so therfore I am unaware of which would be a good size to purchase some dished wheels in
I want either 17 or 18 inch wheels to be fitted to a more or less stock s15 suspention set up..Do coilover affect the wheels u can fit?
Would love some works or some dished xxr which size is ok 9j?

larger wheels on stock suspension will look a bit rubbish, coilovers will allow larger reductions in ride height (over aftermarket shocks and springs) and assuming you get adjustable top mounts you'll be able to dial in some camber.

this is mine:



its got 18" x 9.5" wide wheels all round, with coil overs with a large height reduction and a bit of camber thrown in (mainly so it doesn't catch the arches on road bumps)
