Smile Good deed for the day

Rescued this little chap from my woodburner.
He must have fallen down the chimney. He was trying to get out the vent when I noticed him (or her, I couldnt really tell!).

Here he is sat on the thumb of my welding gauntlet. He sat there for a moment then flew off into the trees out the back of my house

    Nice one.

Only realised a couple of nights ago that we have bats round our way, can hear the squeaks late evenings as they must be out hunting

The squeaks are probably owls, you can't really hear bats because they operate in the ultrasonic.
Unless you have slightly tarded bats

We get loads of bats around us, sometimes 3 or 4 flying round the garden at once.
They patrol the areas with bright lights as I'm guessing those attract moths, flys and shit that they like to eat.
