Arrow R32 2-door Daily Streeter Rebuild

I've had my R32 2-Door Shell for a while now, and recently decided to give it some purpose.

Going to turn it into a tidy slammed reliable daily, and thought some people on here might be interested in it's progress.

It was originally a Top Secret powered car from Japan, generally reasonable condition but fairly battered in places.

I can't currently find that many pictures of how it sat other than these.

    I ordered up an Engine.

Decided to go with an RB25DE out of a low mileage Auto R33.

Hopefully should give some good drive-ability and fuel economy with some power potential in the future if I choose to turbo-charge it.

Someone sorted me out an RB20DET Gearbox for cheap, So should be able to run a stock R32 GTST Prop-shaft when I find one.

I had a look over the problem areas.

    Including the Arches of Win.

A few bits of light rust where there's a bit of damage.

And the odd bit of damage here and there.

Someone wiped out the Front Tension Arm Mount.

And it looks like they've danced a jig on the roof at some point.

They're really cool. Only thing that puts me off is the rust issues. Hence why I switched back to Toyota and now have a Soarer.
I now have a double drive tho, so at some point may get a project under way

I imagine the UK ones are in a similar state to the S13's, this one looks pretty reasonable as it's an Import.

I've got a JZ Soarer, I've got some plans for it once I get rid of a few cars.

Because of the Rear Wheel Steer, I weighed up a couple of different options.

Considered an S13 Subframe swap, or even adding the brackets to convert the 32 Subframe to 13.

But when mocked it up at my ride height, Had a few clearance issues.

Decided instead to make my own Hicas Delete.

Sourced some M16 Rose Joints in a Left and Right Hand Thread.

Machined up some spacers to accept the M12 Bolts.

Machined Left and Right Hand Threads onto some Hard 16mm Bar.

Still need to add an adjuster, But these will be used to set the Toe angle.

Or better still stop collecting cars! I'm good, really busy with work and on the hunt for a house so any playing with the 370z has gone out the window for a while.

    Glad to hear it dude.

I'll probably sell this 32, and then get one of my 13's knocked out.

Sad times, Get a Flat !
