    s15 and s14 SR20DE differences? doing a swap

    Hi,

I've just bought an SR20DE out of a manual S15 with loom and ECU. (A spec S i think)
This is to replace a blown SR20DE S14 engine, in my auto 95 S14.

Was just wondering if Ill encounter any differences? Should I keep the S14 loom and ECU in there?
Also I have to keep the auto box for now, So I think I just change the spigot bearing, right?

    Will everything just plug in?

would be nice if the s15's was fractionally better?

    Thanks for any info,

    Angus

Hi there, pretty sure you will have to stay with the S14 ecu/loom simply because the manual ECU won't work with the auto trans ECU.

Use all the S14 wiring, ECU and ancillaries.

You'll need to remove the spigot bearing from the crank and fit all the auto gubbins instead
