There's a long list of factory options for the 180SX, most of which are super rare and therefore score uber JDM points. Here's a few:
    - Carbon fibre centre garnish for rear lights
    - Arm rest
    - rear side window louvres
    - rear window louvre (super rare, never even seen one!)
    - non-smoker's box
    - JDM flare

No 180sx rare parts in the auctions at the moment. Been trawling for rare tomei and nismo stuff for days. Best ive found is the tomei shirt shifter but thats for me if I win it:-)

I think its time some one explains the jDm scene thing to me?

The videos I've seen on proper jap scene is they think we are weird for copying them?

I see people all the time fitting some jDm part that cost them 1000s yet they run low power and are too scared to drive the car i always think you could have built a epic track car for that.

Some people have no interest in driving on track, instead prefer to modify the car to make it look a certain way, and there's not a thing wrong with that. I like a bit of both personally, style and performance, but each to their own.

As for thinking we're weird, there are groups in Japan who do the very same thing, copying Euro style, and USDM style, etc. People see something they like, and want to replicate it, or do something similar. It's nothing new.

Its about making your car look good (to there own tastes) which is probably why they find it weird that people replicate there style then. I personally like I bit of both. But im a big fan of the 90s era aswell ( hence me running 15s)
I have a fair bit of high end rare parts on my car but its not going to stop me using it to its potential on a drift track :-)

My ethos behind finding some JDM cool stuff is that the car is a JDM import so thought it would be cool to add more on, I've got a shotgun upswept exhaust and ssr professors on the car and with it being a type x i want more cool parts to add to it . Although i'm not sure i want to learn to drift in it i fully expect to do a few track days in it once its set up to my liking!
