Help ma bob, how did Massa miss that Ferrari ?
Help ma bob, how did Massa miss that Ferrari ?
There was defiantly skill involved but more luck than anything I think
Slam brakes on and steer right, if he had abs he'd of been fine
Its taken an hour to get this show back on the road...
Fecking typical .... The 1st gp this year I have found the time to watch and so far it's been an hour of nothing ... Misses will be back home soon so I will have watched a grand total of 1 lap this season
Terrible shame for Nico
Great move from Alonso on Vettel.
So ze German goes all 4 wheels off circuit to get the run on eyebrows then runs all 4 wheels off to hold the position on the overtake - nice
Did anyone else's living room erupt into cheers when Nico reported his problem?

Hamilton fan detector triggered
It took us a couple of minutes to work out what had gone wrong.
Replays from the angle showing Nico's steering wheel, just showed all his lights lit up like Blackpool illuminations. And dancing illuminations at that. Gearbox some sort of proper panic mode. Or fecked off to a 80's rave instead.
in the olden days, you could just take the bulb out, and drive on for a few more years, but things aren't like that now
to be fair i reckon hamilton would have had him anyway
Certainly would have been a good battle. Perfect result really. Level playing field again. Why do they always **** up Lewis' pits though?
Also some absolutely brilliant camera angles from all over the track.
Good race but would have been brilliant to see the battle, but as said levels the playing field again which is great :-).
The thing I love about Silverstone is that there's a couple of corners where you really get that sense of an F1 car being so much faster than anything else. Like an on board shot through Eau Rouge.
I didn't understand Vettal's whining, if someone could come back at you in a corner you obviously haven't overtaken them fully.
Really good race. Shame the nico/Hamilton battle didn't happen as I think Hamilton would of got him before the end. On the other hand its brought Hamilton back in to the fight, just need another non finish from rosberg to make it even.

and all the other dramas too. There were loads.
Qualifying dampness and bad timing put both Williams and both Ferraris at the back of the grid.
Raikkonen's unfortunate upchuck on the first lap, which took out Massa and amazingly didn't take out a few more.
Alonso and Bottas both had storming drives today, from the back of the grid.
Button too.
Even Vettel made good viewing, especially battling with Alonso towards the end.
Awesome race, gutted for Jenson, one more lap would have seen him on the podium
Vettel had forgotten what it was like to have an average car and having to actually fight for a place as for the last 4 years he has either been at the front on his own or had the power to easily get past. Was an awesome few laps with him and Fernando.
I think I would have preferred it if Nico had broken down after being overtaken by Lewis, that would have been the perfect result. But Nico needed to have a DNF.
