Anyone here had a buddyclub exhaust? Or heard one?
Looking at exhausts for my s13 and came across this:
http://www.madmotors.co.uk/buddyclub...c-exhaust.html
Now I have heard people say the type 2 is seriously loud but this is the "pro" model with more/ bigger silencers. Just wondering if anyone has any input on any buddyclub exhausts and if anyone has heard this one?

I'm thinking if it's stupidly loud I could get one of those silencers that goes where the cat is.

It wont be stupidly loud i wouldnt imagine mate i have noticed that turbo cars seem to be not as loud as non turbo cars with a straight pipe, just type on youtube 200sx straight pipe exhaust and there will be a few vids there.

A spec 2 on a CA is ridiculously loud. It seems to somehow make the car louder than it would be with a straight pipe - it's basically an amplifier.
Spec IV is much more civilised. No idea about that one though

Whats the diameter of the buddy club spec 2? If its a thinner pipe it will be louder but i think a 3" turbo back wouldn't be too loud.

I had a spec 2 on my ep3 type r, it was a 2.5 in straight through. With 3" tail pipe it was stupidly loud used to set off car alarms. This was with a cat on as well. I'd imagine it'd be quieter on a turbo'd car but not by much.

I've run a type 2 on my S14a for around 4 years, haven't seen one on an S13 though.

I'm pretty sure that it was a Spec 2 (on an eg Civic, though) that gave someone I know partial deafness in their left ear.
And I'm not joking.

Seriously seriously loud...even on turbo cars, they arent just straight pipe they seem to expand near the tailpipe kind of like a trumpet amplifing (sp?) The sound considerably.
Honest to god ive had 'loud' cars over the years, but my mates TURBO crx with one actually hurt my ears and could be heard for miles. You would never ever get near a track or drift day with one on either.

I run a type 2 and its loud, and so does a friends PS13. I wouldn't advise a BuddyClub if you want a quieter exhaust...

I had a Buddyclub shotgun on my old Civic, it wasn't loud enough so I chopped the centre box out. Normal.

I had a Type 2 for a while on an S13 with a red-top SR20, I liked it but it definitely wasn't quiet. There is a silencer though in the mid-pipe, it's not just a straight-pipe. Also they come with a bung which is a bit more substantial than a normal exhaust bung, it's like a small removable silencer that fits in the tailpipe - really quietens it down a lot.
