15K will buy a V10 M5. Just saying
2004 - on : 1999 S14a 398bhp 378lb/ft
2010 - on : 2007 RX8 PZ
1998 - 2004 : 1991 S13
Man Up! its a V10!
Which will cost the same as, if not more to run than an Evo (some feat) and probably won't be significantly faster thanks to the enormous kerb weight.
Sounds like a winner to me
but it will be faster, nicer to drive, and has a V10
15K would get you a very nice kit car with the oomph to flatten the Evo on acceleration.
15k would also get you a decent modern hot hatch that will keep up with plenty of evos.
Or you can man the F up get a 350 or 370z with proper wheel drive
How old are you ????
And why do you feel the need to "compete with the other half" ?
I don't understand threads like this maybe I'm getting old
In budget and Jap and I'd imagine very quick....

I don't understand why people think this is confusing and get down to my age?
I am looking for suggestion with similar power as an Evo 7, simple as that.
And yes we both love cars and we enjoy having fun driving together, thats why I want a similar power car.
Thanks for those who put suggestion on cars, I have really think about those but I am more tend to stay in Jap. R32, R33, supra and Sti is something I am thinking of now. Maybe another Evo if i drove her car and like it.
Is the Evo standard? Anything over 200bhp/tonne will keep up with one I'm sure. Cornering on the other hand....
Minimum stage 3a your s14 and rolling starts wave good bye to the evo and supra TT (that's not heavily modified) in a straight line
I'm tempted to get a merc C55 or CLK55 AMG

Yeah I was going to say if the op isn't man enough for a GTR maybe a AMG would be a good punt.
Get a folding tin top and any day the sun shines she will steal it.
I would definitely suggest a Supra 2JZGTE you could easily get a nice one for 10-15k, I owned a naturally aspirated one which I loved and still miss it had excellent handling and I can only imagine how the TT must feel like to drive. I believe the standard TT has 325bhp and is very easy to upgrade. If you ever do end up getting a Supra, be sure to sign up at mkivsupra.net.
Also Jurgen @ jm-imports.co.uk sells decent Supras, Supra Racing Developments and Keron @ Extreme Performance are excellent garages for Supras.
One of Kerons 2jzs
Should have supercharged the EP3 mate
