The later rs4's have 420bhp and a 0-60 of 4.4 seconds, they aren't exactly slow. Can be had for the top end of the budget also.

420bhp on paper...more like 350 on a rolling road. Chap round here had an 07 plate one in black, and the s14a at stage 3 was slightly quicker in a straight line. Sounded great though.

Which will cost the same as, if not more to run than an Evo (some feat) and probably won't be significantly faster thanks to the enormous kerb weight.

15K would get you a very nice kit car with the oomph to flatten the Evo on acceleration.

Or you can man the F up get a 350 or 370z with proper wheel drive

To be fair, you know nothing about their relationship. Sounds like they both love cars so it's perfectly natural to have some healthy competition.

I am looking for suggestion with similar power as an Evo 7, simple as that.

And yes we both love cars and we enjoy having fun driving together, thats why I want a similar power car.

Thanks for those who put suggestion on cars, I have really think about those but I am more tend to stay in Jap. R32, R33, supra and Sti is something I am thinking of now. Maybe another Evo if i drove her car and like it.

I would definitely suggest a Supra 2JZGTE you could easily get a nice one for 10-15k, I owned a naturally aspirated one which I loved and still miss it had excellent handling and I can only imagine how the TT must feel like to drive. I believe the standard TT has 325bhp and is very easy to upgrade. If you ever do end up getting a Supra, be sure to sign up at mkivsupra.net.

Also Jurgen @ jm-imports.co.uk sells decent Supras, Supra Racing Developments and Keron @ Extreme Performance are excellent garages for Supras.
