    can you get a new sunroof seal?
    I mean the one that fits onto the glass and is moulded where it goes over the hinges. or does it come as part of the glass.

    mine is totally knackerd and seeing as the car is undergoing a bit of a restoration,

    I figured it would be the time to sort it out

    cheers gaz..

    Is this the rubber seal underneath the glass which seals down on the lip inside, or the one that goes around the rim of the glass on the outside and on top of the roof ?

    Could do with the outside / rim seal, as mine is now a little perished and stiffened (oo er missus) after 22 years of sun wnd and rain...

    This is the outside top seal that fits around the top of the glass and is moulded to go over the front hinges.

    Yeah i got one.
    It fits a dream. You dont need anything to stick it down, it is held in place by the glass. you have to push it so it clips over the glass. A very easy job, took about 10 mins to do.
    Far better than when i had duck tape on the roof
    When i get a chance i will take a picture of the new seal for you.

    Update, cheaper Ebay source with no additional customs and handling / import charges;

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201381373589

    $58.99 + $27.22* post and import charges = £39.13 + £18.06 = £57.19 to your door, no further charges, no post office bogus excessive "handling and processing" charges.

    (Seller is ebay ID quirkparts in case above URL becomes deleted / superseded).

    Going off to see if they might also have the rear boot / hatchback rubber seal.
    Hens teeth unobtanium this side of the pond.....

    Aaaaaaand update: arrived yesterday from the States, so that's just 11 days from order (on a Sunday, so really just 10 days) to front door.
    Original genuine Nissan part and fits properly like a glove, including the hinge cut outs. Not cheap but then again cheaper than stock here....
