Is this the same company that won't tell you whats inside the machine and they don't have very much IP on the actual device??
Still for $15m I'm sure a bunch of the big players will buy it just to strip it down and figure out whats inside.
they will never get 15m for it .... 7.5 tops .... they would be better off breaking it.

yes, but this is smaller, more compact, made of a nicer material and looks less silly in size compared to a samsung GS5....... all though at a quantum level it does share a lot of similarities to an HTC, where it can be in the state of switched on AND switched off at the same time .. or as HTC like to call it "hung"
Yea I have to agree those are plus points.
I was looking at getting a GS5, but having to get planning permission to store the bloody great big thing at home was too bothersome
Dont the NSA have one of these things, and google was going to get one of the next gen ones to play with.

I get the feeling that this would only work if we could pursuade Ernest Borgnine to drive the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth hovercraft.
If it's true, there will be a massive change in computing. If it isn't true then they are just selling the idea of Quantum Computing and not the fully fledged Quantum Computing that everyone has be harking on about.
And its still slower than a standard mac book.
Nowts as slow as a macbook, bar an 8yr old celeron dell with fluff all over the cooler.
This quantum computer looks ok, but its no where near the sheer greatness of what the Daddy of all puters looks like

well thats only true if you installed a Windows OS on it, stick a nice install of Ubuntu on it and it will run just fine
But anyway .... back on topic, can it run Crysis on full resolution ?
At nearly absolute zero it could well be a Pentium 4 overclocked to 50Ghz
Have you seen how bloated Ubuntu has got recently

Edited to say a p4 at 50Ghz wont actually be all that superb, anything using modern instruction extensions will cuff it even at nearly 100 times its average clock speed.

Google are using one of these to research artificial intelligence and they also own the company that makes this
Google has been watching too much terminator.
Still Googles version of skynet will become self aware one day and then impload immediately from the influx of cat videos on youtube it watches.
