45 miles and anything from 45 mins to 2 hours depending on traffic, each way, when I go to my regular place of work.

20 mins walk, 30 mins train ride when I'm in city

Used to commute 25 miles each way. Up and down the M6...now its a bit shorter. From my bed to the PC, or to the garage downstairs if I feel like it

Mines 40 - 50 mins drive though normal term times can get it down to 35 mins in half term. Monday to Friday. But coming from an It engineer role supporting multiple companies where I would be leaving the house at 4:30 - 5 in the morning to be in Kent on a clients site by 8 doing 8 hours work then driving home, that 40 - 50 drive is like a 5 min walk for me.

I'm 7 miles each way on new forest 40 limit B roads.

15-20 min early morning to mid afternoons on any possible week day.

18 miles each way in my S15

Makes commuting a pleasure. I have a choice of a dual carriageway if I'm tired or a B road blast. Takes roughly 25 mins each way.
Unless it's a bank holiday. Then it's clear roads all the way

12 miles, 15-20 minutes (never any traffic) through the beautiful Cotswold countryside.

Spent most of the rest of my working life commuting for much longer every day up to 2 hours each way at times so this is a bit of a breeze.

Aside from the 100 mile commute on a Monday and Friday, my weekday lodging to the front gate is about 5 minutes, from the front gate to the carpark after going round the entire flipping site to get there is another 5 minutes. I should ride it really, you can slip in through the directors entrance and i'd probably get to my desk quicker, but, well, i'm not going to.

10 miles or about 18 mins. It would piss me off travelling anything over half hour.

8mins door to door on a good day, live and work in central London, Elephant & Castle to Westminster, will be a different story if I ever want to buy instead of rent though!

15-20 minutes. 11 miles each way.

45mins to 1h 30m depending on traffic (A205/South Circular) for a 15 mile journey, each way.

Sorry to bring up such an old thread, Im just curious for the longer commuters do you use your S-chassis? Im looking at 100 miles a day tuesday - friday and considering an S14a instead of my MX5 which isn't up to the task!

Should be alright as long as you wash underneath from salt religiously on the sabbath.... and keep those oil changes under 4k
