it's back - Big track Skids at Crail 4th October 2014.

The 1st SXOC Drift Day of 2014 will be held at Crail Raceway in Fife.

This is THE FASTEST AND BEST VALUE DRIFT DAY IN THE UK

We have been having pretty regular drift days here for the past few years, and everyone agrees they are excellent value for money, and great fun, so basically, Get involved!!

The format for this day is 30 drivers, no more, no less paying £36.50 as a member of SXOC, and £45.50 as a non member.
So there will be even more time on track!!

Members of SXOC get till 23/06/2013 to fill the spaces before non-members are allowed, except for Ade, Dave 2 Sheds, Ren, Kyle and Jeek.
So that's just shy of 2 weeks basically.
After that the payment window is open to all, until 4th July, when it will close to all!

Membership costs £20, so basic maths tells you if your planning on attending 2 or more of the days we arrange each year, its beneficial and cost effective to be a member, never mind the many other benefits of membership

The list below shows who has paid, your name will not appear here until i have confirmed the PayPal payment has arrived.

    Paid

    1. Kev member paid
    2 Immy21 member paid
    3. GreyDesigns member paid
    4 mattrbs14 member paid
    5. Jman member paid
    6 Kieran_e1 member paid
    7 Cambo member paid
    8 Chin member paid
    9. Andy318ti paid
    10. mckinnon19837 paid
    11. Scott B paid
    12. mattmx5turbo paid
    13 zabby paid

    Reserves

There will be NO PAYING ON THE DAY, now absolutely agreed and in BLACK AND WHITE from Crail which means if you want a place, you will have to pay for it in advance.

Turn up on the day and you will be turned away

The following people are BANNED from attending SXOC days permanently.
Scott Cummings, user name scotty c.
Reason, inability to control a motor vehicle, meaning an SXOC members vehicle was damaged by his incompetence!!

The day will run from 10am to 3pm

There will be 30 spaces which all need to be filled, no more and no less, exactly 30.

So from now, till Sunday the 23rd June the payment window is open only to members, and those stated above as exceptions.
From the 24th June it will be open to all until 4th July that no more payments will be accepted!

There will be no list of "I want to go" cos its bollox, the only thing that secures your space is the money in SXOC's PayPal account, details of which are below.

If you have paid, but your name does not appear after a few days either post on this thread or pm me.

If for whatever reason you have to pull out of this after you have paid, it will be up to you to sell your place, no-one else, SXOC will help where it can, but please remember it is your responsibility.

Helmets are recommended but not compulsory (unless you drive a soft top, in which case they are compulsory)
Helmets are now compulsory on the oval.
Roll cages and fire extinguishers are strongly recommended, but again not compulsory

Spectators and passengers are free though passengers have to sign on and get stamped.
All spectators and support vehicles (except tow vehicles) must be left outside the pit area for the duration of the day.
Please ensure this happens, its frustrating when it doesnt!

DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL OR DRUGS TO THIS DAY, this is a motor sport day, not a piss up, if you or your spectators bring alcohol or drugs to this day, you will be banned from future days. You invite them along, you are responsible for them.

NEW BBQ will be on site, as will be the awesome chef Mini Me and food will be available to all members whether taking part in the day or not.

    ***********PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO PAYING**********

Basically the club got its arse kicked by paypal for everything going through from these days as a gift, so we have to pay the fee now

    To pay:-
payment to be made through paypal as usual and as the picture below:-

DO NOT SEND AS A GIFT!

So its to be sent to events@sxoc.com, under the Purchase tab as a service, and as a Member you will be sending £36.50, and as a Non-member you will be sending £46.50.

Onto the next tab and it will be as below, except the date obviously

So in the subject box "SXOC October Crail Day, Username (whatever your SXOC Username is)"
In the message box "SXOC Crail Day 26th October 2013"

Not filling this form out properly causes problems, and TBH its problems I don't need, these days are difficult enough, so make sure you fill it in right!

I will try and update this post with those who have paid every few days.

    Kieran

So how much time do you actually get on the track if theres 30 people, 10am - 3pm, how many cars out at once?

Used to be around 5-10 cars out at once. You'll not get more seat time for the money than an SXOC crail day

Its an open pit lane, so go out, do some skids, when you/the car have had enough come back in, cool down and relax, then head back out again

you will have more available time than you can carry tyres.

I have never ever heard anyone complain about a lack of seat time at a crail day. ever.

    ^^^ what they said.

Wet days are actually better in some ways cos then once you're on track you can just do big fast skiddy manji laps for ages and ages and ages!

Sorry if this is a stupid question but could I bring my MX5 to this event?
I just say this as the public drift days seemed to be filled with out of control BMW sheds.
If I can I'm tempted to get a membership as private events seem to be a bit more civilised.

Of course you can. You have to wait to join the event June as you are a Forum guest not a paid up club member.

Our events are always great, just search on You Tube "SXOC Crail Drift Day"
