Don't pretend that you're ever going to drive this mate!
Cheers chaps
I'll have you know I actually took it out on Saturday night to a local meet. Passanger side was rubbing like crazy under any form of compression or right hand turning lol. Got some smaller slip ons on the way to bring the wheel in a couple mm
Quick photo after a wash on Saturday morning!
Lovely work, you do a tidy job. Refreshing to see it done so nicely.
Would be awesome to see this at one of the Monday meets in the SW - looks the business!
Thanks mate, I try and do everything to the best standard I can
Cheers dude. Yeah I really should get myself to the local meets. I can never be bothered to do anything after work though haha. I'll try and get to a couple in the summer though
Looks really evil mate, Sitting perfectly on them GTR-D's
Now that looks so badass and aggressive, would not change a thing and I am loving those super wide wheels, well worth the effort looks gorgeous mate can not wait to see it in the flesh again
Stunning car mate. A real credit to you . anymore updates or pics?
Thanks man!
Yeah got a few pics! Went for an alignment the other day. Got loads of negative camber at the back but I'm so happy with how it looks at the moment and the rear wheels don't run at all so decided to leave it!
Settings now are :
Front toe : 0
Front camber -3.3
Rear Toe : 0.05
Rear Camber -3.5
So yeah still bags of camber but it drives okay for what I use it for!
Went out with the camera and grabbed some better photos!
And went to a local jap meet last night, found a few photos this morning!
Got a week off next week and got a few bits planned so I'll report back then
Looking really good mate!!
Just Amazing and makes me want a 200 so much. You know how to do a good job that's for sure.
As you know I'm looking for a nice spec 200 and all but begged you for this car. Lol.
I have found something I like and will fire a pm your way for your opinion if you don't mind sir?
Had another week off last week, so tackled a few jobs I've been meaning to do for a while! First up was cutting out the scabby old battery tray.
Came out without to much of a fight! The area underneath the tray had a few bits of surface rust, so went over them with the wire wheel and then layed on some electrox.
Then made up a cover plate for that area out of some carbon I had left from my canards .
Before I riveted the carbon down I painted some black hammerite over the primed area too!
Bought a spare sump off of liamjrhodes off of here, and had the boss put in it for my oil temp gauge!
My friend who done it said it was an absolute pig to weld, but it'll look fine after a rub down and a coat of black!
Swapped the pop rivets holding my sideskirts on out for M5 riv nuts. Makes them a lot easier to remove/refit now!
Girlfriend decided she didn't fancy the kouki wing on hers anymore, and I'd been contemplating having one for a while. So bought that "cheep of course" and had it resprayed
Extended the fuel filler latch so it now sits out flush with the overfender.
And that's it for progress really for the minute, but here's just some photos I've got on my phone
