    Rossdot's red Type-X 180SX

    Hey guys,

I wasn't going to post pictures here until the car was complete. But I'll post a few just now to let you know how I'm getting on with it.

So it's a 1994 with the red top SR20 with a near standard spec. Although it does benefit from JDM climate control and folding mirors and the sunroof!

So basically the car was advertised down in London. I had just sold my S14 and decided not to use the money sensibly but to buy another S body, good thinking there huh. I'm taking a different approach to this car from what I did the S14. Sure the S14 looked brilliant and was fast, but it needed a lot of tidying up. Things I couldn't find the motivation to do. But this car is MINT. It's done circa 60K miles and there's not a patch of rust anywhere on it. I plan on keeping it clean, and respectable. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of the car when I had stopped driving it back from London. I really should have but I just wanted to get back up the road. I left London at around 4 and I was home for 9. Not bad huh? The car didn't break a sweat either, not a single fault.

    So far I've fitted -

    Type-X front bumper and lip
    Type-X side skirts
    Type-X rear spats
    Type-X spoiler
    Kouki tail lights
    Carbon RPS13 garnish
    Raybrig headlights
    Sleepy eye mod
    Clear front and side repeaters
    Nardi steering wheel
    Chequered floor mats
    Bride Zeta seat
    Bride rail
    Blitz boost gauge

I think thats it so far. I've spent most money on paint - now the kit is complete I am over the moon with it. I had planned on BIG wheels once I've gone 5 stud. Ie 18/17X10+ ET- with all the camber but it'll drive like shit. So I think some nice TE37 will suffice. And it'd be a shame to destroy the arches, they are utterly mint. Factory fresh! My next plan is either coilovers and 5 stud. I'll probably have the front A pillars painted in between too, oh and the mirrors! Long term I'm thinking about stage 3 power, big top mount turbo etc. But I'll keep the engine as is just now.

Let me know what you all think,

    Ross.

Yeah dude, I saw them. But at that kind of money I'd rather import a set of TE37SL's.

Currently sourcing 5 stud parts. I need S14 LCA's ASAP as I'm going to have them extended by 25mm to give the camberz!

    Thanks dude.

Yeah I love it haha. It's usually a downside due to not being able to fit a cage however in Japan there's cages for sale that dodge the sunroof, good times!
