    fmic fitment

    anyone have a toyosport fmic? seen them on ebay and just wondering about fitment with a standard bumper. i know ill have to put a smaller battery but mainly concerned about how much i have to cut the bumper

    You have to cut it quite a bit. Probably about just over an inch from what I can remember. It still looks OK though

    thats not too bad. just around the lower vent/grill i presume?

    I'm running one and recently replaced my bumper, I found the final inlet pipe (after FMIC, just before inlet mani) with the recirc/dumpvalve pipe didn't fit and would fowl on the fan cowling and had to use my old HKS one.

    Also the bumper required cutting a good inch and a half in various places and still sits pretty damn tight.

    Value for money but not the best setup going.

    I have a toyo sport front mount I cut my fan cowling to suit the cold pipe and had to cut a inch or so on some inserts on the inner side of the bumper which you can not see from the front

    I used a hot air gun on my fan cowling and melted it down a bit so its moulded flush now
