    Noob from pontypool, south wales, owning a s14a

    I'm in need of help as its miss fireing realy bad at the moment.

    Hi and welcome mate! Need more info on that misfire! Could be a boost leak,plugs,coilpacks,fuel pump! etc

    You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

    And if you can't fix it with a hammer,you've got an electrical problem!

    thanks for replies, problem is there from start up at low revs feels like it wants to cut out. changed coil packs no change, new plugs and cleaned maf no change.

    Boost leak maybe. Have you changed intercooler recently?

    Standard intercooler was changed when i first bought car 4 years ago, has been fine up until christmas when missfire started. i was on the motorway overtaking a lorry when i lost all power and had great difficulty getting home.

    Recheck that cooler first mate! thats normally the problem they go on the welds on the cooler to pipework usually,or your hose has popped off or holed! got a standard s14 cooler here cheap if you need it to get you running.pm me if you need one
