Haha i did actually, a mk1 GTI and a mk2. The mk2 was laying frame so I know what low is. But I'm not bothered about having this laying frame because I want it to be a road weapon. I'm going to remove the 3rd locking ring and mess around with preload this weekend.

Also would you not be better to stick the stock suspension on a just cut the springs if you want it to sit on the ground.

Yeah m8 stance slammed illest fatlace stanceworks sceneeeeee bleugh that's why I left the VW "scene" sick to death of preachers and do gooders. I have my own ideas and taste so I will do what I like, if you like it great! If not great! But don't tell me I'm doing it wrong, it's extremely boring.

Its the japanese way. try something you like whether it works or not and meets other peoples approval they don't care. Just look at that s15 on the MCM Kei to the city, he had mickey and Minnie mouse tailpipes just because it made him laugh haha

If you want it to be max lowz and still a street weapon don't **** about with the preload as it will bump steer terribly

Best option would be to buy new hubs such as driftworks geomasters (other brands are avaiable) as they lower the car 50mm over standard hud due to the spindle being higher on the hub

Max lows without ruining the handling and ****ing every bush on the car= winning

Your perfect road setup will get wiped out and knock all the alignment out

It's a win win man, pros are...stance all year without effecting the handling so no need for different setups and the only con is you have to pay 800quid ish for the privalige.

Researched this as i think my splitter maybe on par with yours and i want to drive on the road all year too
