Viwing threads
I am hoping someone can help or a least point me in the right direction.
When I want to read certain threads on here I sometimes get a message that says
'No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator'
This happens no matter what pc/laptop I use and sign in on, any ideas?

There is nothing obviously wrong with your SXOC account.
I clicked onto this thinking I could help, but no
And as a few hours have passed I'm guessing that others have looked and failed too.
Can you put up an example of what you are seeing ?
Thread link or screenshot?

I get the same thing occasionally, usually in the rims and rubber section (but that might just be because thats a section I use most often.)
I can go back to the same thread the next day and it will all be fine so it's not a permanent thing at least.

It is due to the URL's not being HTTP encoded properly.
For example a £ sign is actually %23 when in a URL. Try not to use special characters in the titles of your threads. Saying that I have just gone back to a previously non working thread and it seems to be fixed. Not sure if that has been edited at the request of the poster or if some IT guy in the background has fixed the issue.

I have been informed this works on mobiles (not sure if tapatalk) but will not work correctly on a PC browser.

You can always copy the URL into this site to have it encoded correctly and paste it back into the address bar. Ideally this needs to be fixed at the forum level by encoding the title correctly or just use a reference ID to the thread rather than the title.

Some of the threads that previous didn't work now seem to work. Are these being fixed by the IT Hamster or this being done on a request basis?

ryry92 are you using Chrome by any chance. I had only tested this with Internet Explorer 10 at the time I posted that. I have just tested it in Chrome and it works fine.
