    ecu identificaton, eml flashing

    Hi all,

I've been searching and think ive found the problem to my eml flashing but need a hand to fix it.

I've changed my ecu from the stock one to a second hand unit with a HD stage 3a chip fitted. Now I think the new ecu needs coding or something to work with my car. So I need to know how to either make it work with my car or take out the relevant bits and solder them into my original ecu. What's my best course of action? And bellow is the ECU's I've got to play with.

    Original is 3J A18-F40

Horsham developments ecu is AA A18-E37

Anyone help me out here and identify my problem? Both are late spec ecus with the 2 tabs either side of the middle screw.

Also I'm just outside Exeter if anyone's local to help

    Many thanks,

    Rob

    NATS.......

You can't just swap ecu's around. To get them to work you'll need:

    1. the key chip and nats unit from the same car as the ECU came out.

    OR

    2. Or take it to nissan or somewhere else that can link the ecu to the car

    OR

    3. Get the ECU de-NATS'd. MB Automotive can do this as well as Horsham I believe.
