    Cars fixed

Aside from the cosmetics i just needed to fit a spare driveshaft and re align the front wheels and its back driving straight and true with no noises. Very pleased that nothing else was badly damaged, was really worried i'd bent it lol.

Gutted to see about the impact. Hope the rims are ok? Might be worth getting some different rims for track use.

Forgot to update this since i did Oulton park!

Here's a couple of pics from the day, it wasn't that great as i went off early on and then left early, the track was very treacherous and there were red flags galore, glad i wasn't the only one haha.

There was a amateur photographer right where i span off and he managed to get these pics so i can't hide my dignity lol.

Cars taking a bit of a back seat atm as its developed a cold start issue where the car wants to idle at 2.5k for some reason until its up to temp then settles down back to normal. Probably not going to use it for a while so i can evaluate what i want from the car in the future, not sure what direction i'm going in right now.

Well how time flies, it’s been a year since I updated this! And what’s more annoying is all my pictures have disappeared, what a joke photo bucket are!

Anyway I still own the car, it’s not moved since April last year and it’s a shadow of its former glory, almost all the aero has been sold and new parts are ready to fit, the interior is being overhauled, new suspension, new wheels (again lol), CD009 gearbox conversion and new paint. Watch this space!

Any recommendations for new image hosting site that’s free?

you can get firefox and chrome addons that work round photobuckets stupid behaviour to save you some time.

I use Flickr for photos though. Car looks lovely in the video though!

I’ve taken to using Tapatalk to upload pics, it’s quite easy.

Also here's a pic of the timing slip from my fastest run at pod.

Sorry but a profesional painter did that! Hope he was cheap!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Tbh I can’t be bothered to update since photobucket removed 90% of the photos. And I’ve not driven the car for a year, lost interest, motivation and trying to save money so it’s all on hold.

Did you ever sort the idle issue?? mine has the same where the idle fluctuates between 600-1200 till it warms up and then its fine.

Also can i ask what size your front number plate is ?

Yes the idle was to do with the map. The front plate is the legal size for 5 digit plates
