    soarer or e36?

Following on from the thread asking for daily ideas, im stuck between 2 choices atm after looking at a couple, im stuck for choice.

The 2 options are either soarers (either v8 or 1jz) or e36 328s

They both fit the bill very well, both offer gadgets and comfort, good handling, tuneability and aftermarket support.

The only downsides i can see are

    Bmw cons
    Slightly chavvy image
    Some rust boxes
    some very abused cars around

    pros
    manuals
    cheap parts
    reliable
Sound ok with a sensible exhaust

    soarer cons
    imports only so rare
    all autos
expensive issues such as dash pixels etc

    Pros
    v8 or twin turbos
    loads of funky gadgets
More vip and rare than other cars

anything im missing? I should say i do plan to modify this car to a degree so i can start attending drift days once again. Main differences are the soarers have far more power and tuneability, but auto conversions are expensive.

Soarer every day of the week. Unless its a NICE Technoviolet 328S with OEM BBS. But come to think of it I'd still have the Soarer.

Even in auto format, 1JZ Soarers are just awesome.
