Best small battery to work with intercooler pipe work

I have a apex front mount and I have a small battery and i need to replace it. Anybody know what's the best one I can get that holds the most charge without paying silly money. And I dnt want to put a big battery in the boot if anybody advises on that lol.

I have an 054, possibly yuasa but I'd have to check......my car sat in the garage since about november last year without being started and started first turn of the key when I went drifting a couple of weekends back. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have a Bosch S4 054. Though it says 018 on it. Has lasted 6 years and thats it now needing replaced. They are £44 from Euro car parts.

Might sound silly, but why not get that then?

I used to have a 054 one also but it didn't last the winter. 4 weeks without use when it was extremely cold and it was dead when I dried to crank. Reverted back to the stock one which has obviously never had an issue.

But the Bosch 054 is a nice fit and the stock cable lengths are good.
    Don't forget terminal adapters.

I never had a problem with the Bosch in the cold, but after accidently letting it run flat and then with no use over winter the battery just wouldn't hold a charge. Did have it 6 years though.

It is a very good fit in the car.

Another vote for the Bosch!!! Goes flat after about two/three weeks of no use but always starts on a jump and never fails unless left for that long

Does anyone have the dimensions of an 054? Or someone willing to measure theirs for me? I had to use the battery from my focus and wedge it between the fusebox and front of engine bay sideways when I put my front mount in. I would have changed it by now but its been working fine. Well up until this weekend anyway... New battery time so I think I should do it properly. But if someone can measure it for me so I can ensure it will fit that would be awesome!!

Got a Bosh 054 in the end and I can tell the difference between this and old one it turns engine over so much faster than old one thanks.
