HI GUY, been lurking for a while so thought id say hi, bought 200sx which has been righten off, i intend using as much of the car as possible and put in a mk1 cortina, hence the title, im hoping that i can join in even though its only the hart im using, normally build cars with v8's but fancy a change, looking forward to the build which will start as soon as i finish another project thanks steve

Welcome. I'm sure there's a blue mK 1 cortina witn an Sr in it, think there was a thread on here a few years ago.
Everyone with a sr20/200sx heart in any shell has got a thumbs up from me.... Plus once it's built you can pop along to one of the meets to show off your hard work..

There's plenty of non 200's running CA18's or SR20's. Also plenty of 200's running different engines and 'boxes. Plenty of folks who don't even have a 200 anymore! We're a friendly bunch

and I'm a huge fan of old British tin getting a engine swap (of any sort tbh Pinto Xflow etc)
We have a few on here,the Mad minor CA 18det complete minor body dropped onto a s13 flour pan,Anglia 105e was CA then went SR20 iirc,
there was a CA powered 2.0s capri on here but think it was sold recently I think
Plenty of Australian nissan engine swaps CA's and SR's into most early fords as well,

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer,you've got an electrical problem!

well thank you all for the warm welcome, when i start the project i will do a build thread im not going to start it for a while but im still finishing another car, looking forward to getting stuck in, iv got a fair few qustions so will be on here ragurly and picking up imfo and parts as i go
