Wiring a power source for EBC. Help please

I have Never wired anything since I set fire to an electrical heater I attempted to install in my flat a decade ago. So go easy on me here. How the heck do I power my blitz ebc? All I know is that I can use something like the cigarette lighter and split that. Is it just a case of cutting that wire and connecting the ebc wire (red) using a little 'connection box' type thingy and then grounding the black wire? Thanks

Spot on. Use scotchlocks for quickness or crimps for properness.

Cheers Carlos, so I pulled up the plastics to get at the wiring on the cigarette lighter. I reckon that the power cable is the orange one but I just want to be sure. Thanks mate. [img][img]

Would have thought so but would double check with a multimeter just to be sure.
